Overview
The HMP-3 Automatic Grinding and Polishing Machine is a single-disk bench-top unit. As a new-generation high-precision automatic sample preparation device, it is manufactured in accordance with international standards and advanced processing technology.
Equipped with a microprocessor control system, the machine enables stepless speed adjustment for both the grinding/polishing disk and head. The sample preparation pressure and time can be set intuitively and conveniently. Operators can complete grinding and polishing processes simply by replacing the grinding/polishing disk, sandpaper or polishing cloth, granting the machine extensive applicability.
The machine features selectable rotation direction and quick-change design for the grinding/polishing disk; multi-sample holder and pneumatic single-point loading; and automatic abrasive dispensing (dispenser is optional). It also delivers stable rotation, low noise, and enhanced grinding rigidity thanks to the cast-aluminum base.
The integrated water cooling system and abrasive flushing nozzles cool specimens during grinding to prevent overheating damage to metallographic microstructures and remove abrasive particles timely. With a fiberglass-reinforced plastic enclosure and stainless steel standard parts, the machine features an elegant appearance, improved anti-corrosion and anti-rust performance, and easy cleaning.
The HMP-3 Automatic Grinding and Polishing Machine is designed for automatic preparation of metallographic specimens from coarse grinding, fine grinding, rough polishing to final polishing. It is an ideal sample preparation instrument for laboratories in enterprises, research institutions and universities.
